About Me

Hello!  I'm Andrea!

I grew up in a tiny little town in western Kentucky.  I am definitely a southern girl at heart, but I moved to one of the largest cities in the world eight years ago.  I wouldn't exactly call it home.  Although, for the most part depending on the day or if it's raining I enjoy my time here for now.  Regardless, I most certainly don't intend on being in NYC forever.

Christopher and I dated long distance for over three years.  He proposed in the most perfect way on December 30, 2013.  Check out that story here!

Most of my adventures these days are with him.  We got married on October 18, 2014.  Check here to read all about our big day!  We are certainly enjoying our time together as newlyweds!! :)

Fortunately, Christopher gets along with my family.  This is crucial because they are a huge part of my world.  My parents are both amazing people.  They worked extremely hard to provide an extraordinary life for my brothers and me.  I am proud to call them mom and dad.  I love the time we spend together.  We even went on a whirlwind European adventure together in 2011.

I am the oldest of my siblings.  The middle child is my brother - Jordan.  We were confused for twins when we were younger as we are only 18 months apart in age.  We fought and fought and fought back then, but today he is one of my closest friends.  We have lived together, gone on trips together, and been to most of the NFL stadiums for football games together.  And now, he and his lovely wife have given me a niece and a nephew...who I love more than life itself.  Seriously, I do!

Last, but certainly not least, is my little Bubsa.  My baby brother, McKinley, is awesome!  He is currently studying to be a doctor.  He is an ambitious fella and super funny.  And he's always up for an adventure with big sis :)

Feel free to follow along to continue to learn more about me!  I'd love to have you!

Andrea :)

  8. Found your blog through Tuesday Topics! I have only been to Manhattan once, but I loved it. My husband and I were in a long distance relationship for two years before I finally moved to him and we got married. It's work, but it's also wonderful! =)
