Chris' Birthday Extravaganza

We had lots of fun celebrating Chris' birthday last week!  I surprised him with a few small gifts and a rice krispie "cake" on his birthday morning.  Great way to start the day!

That night we met at Del Frisco's for dinner.  We loved everything we had to eat there - delicious!!  We started with a cup of corn chowder soup.  Best soup I have ever eaten!  It was full of crabmeat and smoked bacon bits.  SO good.

Next, we moved on to filet mignon with some mashed potatoes and asparagus.  Quite tasty.

We were both stuffed, but you can't celebrate a birthday without dessert, right?  Chris tried the bread pudding while I gave the coconut cream pie a shot.  They were both amazing, but HUGE portions.  No way we couldn't finish them.

After sleeping off our food hangover, we ventured out to a Hulk Hogan Appreciation WWE Wrestling night.  Chris was super excited for this birthday adventure at Madison Square Garden.

The show was quite an experience!  Overall, it was pretty entertaining.  Except for the screaming tween in the row behind us...wow...what a set of lungs on that little lady!  Here are some photos from the show...

Bad News Barrett in the corner with Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose in the ring.

New Day and Cesaro square off in a tag team match.

Paige versus the Bella twins....not a fan....

Mr. Chris Jericho

Rusev, the Unites States Champion, with his Russia flag...ironic??

John Cena!

Fandango and R Truth ready to go...

Bray Wyatt and his weird, creepy lantern schtick that everyone was all about...

Daniel Bryan - YES! YES! YES! YES!

The highlight was obviously when Hulk Hogan made his appearance toward the end.  Very cool.  He was even joined by the Nature Boy (Ric Flair).  Wooooo!   Definitely a great interlude in the show!

Hulk Hogan is joined by Triple H, N.W.O. cohorts Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, Jimmy Hart, and Ric Flair.

In the end, I think Chris had a wonderful birthday celebration this year.  And that's really all that matters to me!
