#MarriedMaitlands: Photo Booth & Late Night Snack

It was a last minute decision to get a photo booth for the reception, but I am so glad we did.  Many of our guests really enjoyed it!  And we had so much fun looking through the scrapbook of duplicate photo strips the day after the wedding.  Some of the photos are hilarious!  The wait for getting a turn in the photo booth was consistent all night. We had planned for it to wrap up about 30 minutes before the reception ended, but so many guests (mostly the younger folks) were still having fun taking photos so we kept it to the very end.  Here are some of the fun photos:

Being a cupcake aficionado, it would have been impossible for me to not have them at our wedding. Initially, we considered having cupcakes alongside our wedding cake, but as the day approached we decided we just wanted to have the traditional wedding cake.  It was a mix of wanting cupcakes for our guests to enjoy and the urge to have something New York based that helped me determine shipping cupcakes to Kentucky was the way to go!  I tried Sprinkles first since that is where Chris purchased the cupcakes he used in his proposal to me, but they don't ship.  Enter Baked by Melissa with a version of the minis I blog about each month coming to our rescue!

The wedding minis from Baked by Melissa were the absolute perfect fit for a little late night snack for our guests toward the end of the evening.  I actually never saw the cupcakes passed around at our reception, but I had quite a few guests mention them to me so I guess everyone enjoyed them!  The caterer actually sent us home with a handful of the leftovers that night, too.  They made for a nice treat to end such a lovely night!
